Ever wonder what it sounds like to mix Beyonce and the Chili Peppers together? Michael Jackson and Usher? What about Billy Idol and Pink? Fun DMC dared to find out and the results are something unique and more fun than the original songs could ever be on their own. They can keep this up all night, peppering in popular dance hits from every genre and decade alongside spectacles such as a 15 minute 80′s pop medley, a 12 minute throwback hip-hop joint, or literally handing everyone a polaroid picture to shake during the bridge to “Hey Ya”.
Packet pickup will begin at 9:00 am at the Hope Pavilion at Southwind Park. Be there or be square!

Dude! Secure your valuables or important personal items inside of the vehicle you arrived in. There will also be a free bag check area for your things. All of your items must be stored in one single bag and your bib must be provided to retrieve your bag.
There will be a finish clock at the finish line, but there will be no chip timing or official results. There are no winners or losers at Color Me Radd. Whoever has the most fun wins!
We will race, rain or shine. Color Me Radd's organizers reserve the right to cancel or delay the event if runner, spectator, or staff safety is compromised. There will be no refunds.
Most definitely! Go all out with your most wicked 80s swag!
Heck yes! The kids love to get colored just as much as the rest of us, and it's bodacious to throw color all over those little dweebs! Kids 10 and under can participate at a heavily discounted cost. All kids must be registered in order to participate and must be accompanied by a paid adult. Don’t be hash—be sure to look after your children at the event so they don't get lost in the crowd.

While Color Me Radd is not a registered non-profit organization, the planning team is made up entirely of volunteers who do not make any income from the event. Fun DMC, LLC is handling organization, financial oversite, and promotion of the event. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to Rebecca Johnston and her family. Future events will be in partnership with a local non-profit organization.
We’ve totally taken like, every precaution to create as safe an environment as possible. There will be emergency staff on standby for the entirety of the event.
The color will mostly wash out. But hey, you’re getting color lobbed at you! So you might want to break out your 80’s swag that you wouldn’t mind getting colored up!
Just bring some towels or some spare clothes just in case, ya dingus!
Bring ‘em out! There will be plenty of room for all your best buds, plus a general area for finish line viewing and obstacle viewing.
There is NO CHARGE for kiddos riding in strollers. While the powder is non-toxic, you will definitley want to keep them away from the color blasts. Our color throwers will do their best to keep the strollers out of the blast zone, but just know that things might get colorful.
While Southwind Park has an open policy regarding pets, we highly, highly suggest you leave your puppers and kitties at home due to the spreading of the color powder. While safe for pets, it is not recommended that they are exposed to a large amount of it. Additionally, pets will not be allowed on the race course during the event. Sorry, Spot!
No, registration will happen up until the event actually begins!
Heck yes! We’ll have a few choice photographers on-site to capture the activities and finish line moments. These images will be posted on the site after the event and you will have full digital access to all of the photos taken. A link will be emailed to you when the photos are available for download! Clutch!
Another heck yes! We recommend keeping your phone and camera in a plastic bag.
Heck no! Our apologies, but we cannot offer refunds under any circumstance. Harsh!
Yes! You can transfer your registration to someone else up to 1 week prior to the event. In order to transfer registrations, you need to send us the name, contact info, email, and shirt size of the person to whom the registration will be transferred to. We can then take care of the rest.
We can only mail packets to participants in the Virtual Run. All other participants must pick up their packet the day of the event.
Get real! There are no ecological hazards associated with the product. Additionally, the only colors used in the powder are approved by the United States FDA for food consumption, drug and external cosmetics. As with any substance, you will want to keep it out of your eyes and lungs. If you are overly sensitive, you may want to use a bandanna or dust mask for your mouth. (This is especially recommended for our younger runners/walkers).
